Sopwith Camel Engine Controls & Ancillaries

The carburettor inlet casting is is a large casting and requires both an inner and outer pattern. Where it sits in the cockpit can be seen courtesy of David from the Brussels Museum.
The throttle and mixture controls are a complicated mix of brass and aluminium which requires casting, lathe work and milling. Again work has started. Carburettor connectors and C clips have had to be made. Experts have made new rocker arms.
